What is cloud ?

cloud meaning a server (like a hard disk of a computer) where all data and information are saved in internet.

cloud computing

What is cloud computing?

Suppose you now need Matlab software for data visualization but your PC does not have it. So you can connect to a service provider over the internet for free or for a fee which will give you the environment of Matlab software to use.

Or, you may need the processing power of an 18/32 core processor for a big calculation or to run a big model of machine learning, which is like a daydream for a poor person like you / me. But isn't that why we can't learn machine learning? Of course I can. And for this we can get that service through cloud computing (from a normal PC) at a low cost (maybe as an hour) from connected through the network.

what is cloud in cloud computing ?

This is cloud computing.cloud computing meaning is a virtual computer. This means that you will not be able to see the components of the computer but you can use it from any place and from any computing device as a remote control. Where you can configure as you wish and do all the high quality work through internet connection. Here you can store thousands of data. You can do everything that you do with the computer on your desk. All you need is an internet connection.
In a nutshell, cloud computing is: computer resources means providing hardware and software services over a network.cloud meaning a virtual computer.

There are basically 4 types of cloud computing based on the user..

1. Public cloud: A type of cloud service that the general public can use.

2. Private cloud: which can only be used by the people of a particular organization.

3. Hybrid cloud: It is made up of a combination of public and private.

4. Community cloud: It can be used by more than one organization.

Based on the service, cloud computing can be divided into three parts:

1. IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service):

This includes infrastructure or infrastructure rent. For example, if someone needs a machine for his work, then the machine is rented virtually or networking services are provided.

2. PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service):

This is where the platform is rented.
For example: operating system, database or any server or monitoring system.

3. SaaS (Software-as-a-Service):

It is a software running in the cloud that users can use directly through the Internet with the help of their mobile phone or PC. One of them can be called web service.

Advantages of cloud computing/Benefits of cloud computing:

Low cost: Since it does not require the purchase of any separate software or any hardware. So the cost will be lower in the normal way.

Easy to use: Cloud computing functions can be controlled via mobile from anywhere, so it is easy to use.

Use of software: It is possible to do a lot of high quality work through cloud computing. And it is possible to use all the necessary software that you might have to buy with separate money.

Auto Software Update: You do not need to update the cloud computing software. These are auto-updated. So in a different way it does not cost maintenance.

Cost as much as you use: You only have to pay for the amount you use in cloud computing. Which is not possible in desktop computing.

Document Control: Suppose that if an office does not use cloud computing, then a separate person will be needed to control or move the documents of that office from one place to another but there is no such problem in cloud computing. All documents can be controlled without additional people.

Data storage: It is possible to save a lot of data at once. And that data will never be lost or corrupted. Cloud computing companies have many data centers. So you don't have to worry about your data.

Secure: Your data security is more than you can get lost at any moment but you are not afraid of losing your data. If you have a lot of data you may back up using a separate hard disk. But there is no guarantee that the hard disk will not crash. There are other ways you can lose data. But you don't have this fear in the cloud. Cloud will guarantee you the protection of your data. So in this opportunity you will also have time to take care of yourself a little more.

Disadvantages of Cloud Computing:

1. If you keep your information in the cloud, the privacy of that information is likely to be breached. Is there any guarantee that your valuable information will not be researched by another person? However, this is not true of all companies.

2. Data can be corrupted in an instant.

3. There may not be adequate security.

4. Possibility of leaking information.
